Residence permit for retirees

Obtaining a European residence permit as a retiree in Bulgaria was an unexpected suggestion from Beyond—I didn’t even know it was possible. I decided to take the risk, and I have no regrets.

Task:
The ability for a Russian citizen to travel freely across Europe.

Solution:
Bulgarian residence permit for retirees.

Result:

• Preparation and collection of documents (including opening a bank account and renting property in Bulgaria) – approximately 2 months.
• Submission of documents for review and obtaining a D visa – around 6 weeks.
• Within 6 months, a trip to Bulgaria is required to complete the process and obtain a 1-year residence permit card.
